MoWR NRCD Scientist Eligibility

Scientist – C :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Environmental / Chemical Engineering from a recognized University / Institute with 3 years’ experience in conservation and pollution abatement of rivers and water bodies, including project management, design & implementation of sewage systems, sewage treatment plants and other pollution control & conservation measures. OR
• Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering / Public Health Engineering / Chemical Engineering from a recognized University / Institute with 3 years’ experience in conservation and pollution abatement of rivers and water bodies, including project management, design & implementation of sewarage systems, sewage treatment plants and other pollution control & conservation measures.

Scientist – B :

• BE / B.Tech or equivalent Degree in Civil / Environmental / Chemical Engineering. OR
• Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering / Public Health Engineering / Chemical Engineering. OR
• Master’s Degree in Environmental Science. OR
• Ph.D in relevant field of Environment / Ecology / Biodiversity.

• Scientist-C : Level 11 of Pay Matrix of Rs. 67700 – 208700/-
• Scientist-B : Level 10 of Pay Matrix of Rs. 56100 – 177500/-
