Naval Ship Repair Yard Apprentice Selection Process 2023
- Preliminary selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in Matric and ITI examination.
- Candidates in the Preliminary Merit list will be called for written examination scheduled to be held at Karwar in Jan 2024.
- A call letter for written examination will be issued to all eligible candidates on their registered email ID.
- Written examination would be objective type based on Mathematics (20), General Science (20) and General Knowledge (10), with each question carrying one and half marks for a duration of one hour.
- There will be No negative marking.
- The question paper will be bilingual both English and Hindi.
- A merit list shall be prepared on the basis of written examination.
- Candidates in the order of merit would be called for document verification / interview in various trades and applicable reservation categories.
- Interview is based on technical skills of the candidates in the respective trade.
- Joining letter will be issued to the selected candidates on their registered email ID.
- Two separate merit lists will be drawn for two establishments i.e. one for Naval Ship Repair Yard, Karwar and one for Naval Aircraft Yard (Goa).
Naval Ship Repair Yard Apprentice Online Form 2023
Interested eligible candidates are required to register online on www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in. The under mentioned procedure is to be followed for registration at apprenticeship web portal under National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS):
- Before starting the process of registration, candidate must ensure that name, date of birth and father name in Aadhar Card must be matching with SSC certificate. Otherwise, change the details in Aadhar Card according to the SSC certificate.
- Log on to www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in web portal.
- Then home page of the website would open.
- Click on Candidate Login/ Register module in the home page. A page titled Candidate Registration would open.
- The candidate is required to fill up his personal details, contact details in the form and then submit the application by clicking the submit option.
- Post submission of application a system generated auto mail would be sent to the e-mail ID for profile activation.
- Candidates have to activate their profile.
- Go back to Home page of www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
- Click on Candidate Login /Register module in the home page.
- To open profile, candidates have to enter his/ her registered E-mail ID, then click submit. OTP would be sent to the registered mobile number for authentication.
- Post login, candidates have to enter or edit their personal details, add educational qualifications, trade preference and validate Aadhar Number.
- On completion of online registration, open candidate profile, download and take print out from the web portal and forward the “Candidate Profile” along with the under mentioned documents by speed / registered post to “The Officer-in-Charge, Dockyard Apprentice School, Naval Ship Repair Yard, Naval Base, Karwar, Karnataka -581 308” within 30 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in Employment News.
