Scientific Assistant (Safety Supervisor) : Diploma in Engineering OR B.Sc with 50& Marks. One Year Diploma / Certificate in Industrial Safety. Minimum 4 Years of Industrial Experience.

Leading Fireman /A : 10+2 Science (Chemistry) with 50% Marks. Experience as a Fireman and Should have HMV License and Certificate Course from State Fire Training Centre.

Driver cum Pump Operator cum Fireman : 10+2 Science (Chemistry) with 50% Marks. Should have HMV License with One Year Experience. Certificate Course in Fire Fighting Equipment.

Assistant Gr. I (HR) : Bachelor Degree in Science OR Commerce OR Arts with 50% Marks. 30 WPM Typing Speed in English on PC. Computer Course Certificate of Duration not less than 6 Months.

Assistant Gr. I (F&A) : Bachelor Degree in Commerce with 50% Marks. 30 WPM Typing Speed in English on PC. Computer Course Certificate of Duration not less than 6 Months.

Assistant Gr. I (C&MM) : Bachelor Degree in Science (With PCM) OR Commerce with 50% Marks. 30 WPM Typing Speed in English on PC. Computer Course Certificate of Duration not less than 6 Months.

Selection Process for Assistant / Steno Post

Preliminary Test (1 Hour) Advanced Test (2 Hours) Skill Test

Stage-1 – Preliminary Test

• The Test will be of 01 hour duration for a maximum 150 marks
• 03 marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 01 (one) mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
• The examination will consist of 50 multiple choice questions of 01 hour duration in the following proportion:

Stage-2 – Advanced Test

1. All candidates screened in Stage-1 to undertake an advanced test.
2. The Test will be of 02 hours duration for a maximum of 150 marks.
3. The test will comprise 50 Multiple choice questions from the following syllabus: (1) Quantitative Aptitude – 25 Questions and (2) Critical Reasoning – 25 Questions
4. 03 marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 01 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
5. A merit list of candidates will be prepared after Stage-2 based upon scores obtained in Stage-2 only.

Stage-3 – Skill Test

1. Based upon the merit list prepared after Stage-2, Candidates will be shortlisted for Skill Test.
2. The number of candidates shortlisted for Skill Test would depend upon the number of candidates qualifying for Stage-2 but shall not exceed 5 times the number of vacancies for each post.
3. Skill test for Assistant Grade-1
   1. Typewriting Test in English on Personal Computer (PC); and
   2. Computer Proficiency Test
4. Skill test for Steno Grade-1
   1. Typewriting Test in English on Personal Computer (PC); and
   2. Computer Proficiency Test
   3. English Stenography Test
