  • Posts of Field Officers are to be filled on All India basis while for Junior Field Engineers / Officers only domiciles of following states are eligible for applying:
  • Regional basis – Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir and Chandigarh

Test Centres

  • Field Officer : New Delhi, Chandigarh, Dehradun & Shimla
  • Junior Field Engineer / Officer : Himachal Pradesh (Baddi / Bilaspur / Hamirpur / Kangra / Kullu / Mandi / Palampur / Shimla/ Solan), Chandigarh, Mohali & Dehradun

SJVN Field Engineer / Officer Selection Process

  • For Field Officer: Selection process consists of Computer Based Test followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
  • For Junior Field Engineer / Officer: Selection process involves Computer Based Test only.
  • The provisionally shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.

SJVN Computer Based Test 2021

Field Officer :
  • The test will be in two parts, Part-I will consist of 120 MCQ of the relevant discipline and Part-II will consist of 30 multiple
    choice questions on Executive Aptitude.
Junior Field Engineer/ Officer :
  • The test will be in two parts, Part-I will consist of 70 MCQ of the relevant discipline and Part-II will consist of 30 MCQ on General Aptitude except for Official Language where Part -I (a) & (b) shall consist of 60 questions on translation, Part-I (c) shall consist of 25 questions on Hindi Literature and Part-II shall consist of 15 questions on General Aptitude.
