CSIR NBRI Recruitment 2025 Eligibility

Technical Assistant:

• TA-01012025: B.Sc. with Chemistry or equivalent with minimum 60% marks and one-year full time professional qualification in the relevant area / field. OR B.Sc. with Chemistry or equivalent with minimum 60% marks and one-year experience in the relevant field.
• TA-02012025: B.Sc. with Environmental Science or equivalent with minimum 60% marks and one-year full time professional qualification in the relevant field. OR B.Sc. with Environmental Science with minimum 60% marks and one-year experience in the relevant area / field.
• TA-03012025: B.Sc. in Molecular Biology / Biotechnology or equivalent with minimum 60% marks and one-year full time professional qualification in the relevant area / field. OR B.Sc. in Molecular Biology / Biotechnology or equivalent with minimum 60% marks and one-year experience in the relevant area / field.
• TA-04012025: B.Sc. (Ag.) or equivalent, with minimum 60% marks and one-year full time professional qualification in the relevant area / field. OR B.Sc. (Ag.) or equivalent, with minimum 60% marks and one-year experience in the relevant area.
• TA-05012025: B.Sc. (Ag.) / B.Sc. Horticulture or equivalent, with minimum 60% marks and one-year full time professional qualification in the relevant area / field. OR B.Sc. (Ag.) / B.Sc. Horticulture or equivalent, with minimum 60% marks and one-year experience in relevant discipline.

• SSC / 10th Standard / SSC or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and ITI certificate or national / state trade certificate in the relevant trade. OR
• SSC / 10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and 2 years’ full time experience as an apprentice trainee from a recognized institution in the relevant trade OR
• SSC / 10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and 3 years of work experience in the relevant trade in a Ministry /Department/ Organisation / Public Sector Undertaking / Autonomous Body under Government of India /State/ UT.
• Trade Name: Tractor Mechanic / Tractor Driver / Mechanic Motor Vehicle / Laboratory Assistant / Chemical Lab Assistant / Quality Assurance Assistant / Gardener / Floriculture & Landscaping / Agriculture Assistant / Horticulture Assistant / Soil Testing & Crop Technician / Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) / Electrician / Fitter / Plumber / Housekeeping

Junior Secretariat Assistant:

• 10+2/XII or its equivalent and proficiency in computer type speed and in using computer as per the prescribed norms fixed by DOPT from time to time

CSIR NBRI Selection Process 2024

Technical Assistant and Technician:

• For the selection to the post of Technical Assistant, the candidates as recommended by the Screening Committee will be invited for Trade Test.
• Those who qualify in the Trade Test will be invited for a competitive written examination.
• The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidate in the competitive written examination.
• For these posts, there will be three papers [Paper-I, Paper-II & Paper-III].
• Paper-II & III will be evaluated only for those candidates who secure the minimum threshold marks [to be determined by the Selection Committee] in Paper-I.
• The Final Merit List will be prepared only on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in Paper-II & Paper-III.

Junior Secretariat Assistant:

• The selection for the post of Junior Secretariat Assistant (F&A/S&P) will be made on the basis of the result of an open competitive written examination from amongst the Candidates possessing minimum educational qualification of 10+2/XII or its equivalent and proficiency in computer type speed and in using computer as per the prescribed norms fixed by DoPT from time to time.
• While the proficiency in computer typing speed and in using computer will only be qualifying in nature, the final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the Candidates in the open competitive written examination.
• The merit list will only comprise of those Candidates who have qualified the proficiency test in computer typing speed.

• The application for online registration will be hosted on the CSIR NBRI website from 03/05/2025.
• Applications will be received online only.
• Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an online Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference.
• E-mail ID of the applicant is to be given in the application compulsorily.
• The last date for submitting online application 02/06/2025.
