Paper-I (Secondary Level): Graduation with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject/subject group from a recognized university, along with a B.Ed. (or equivalent) from an NCTE-recognized institution. Relaxed norms (45% + B.Ed.) apply where prescribed under NCTE Regulations 2002/2007. Separate detailed qualification norms apply for Physical Education, Music, Fine Arts, Dance, and Special School Teacher categories.

Paper-II (Higher Secondary Level): Post-graduation with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject from a recognized university, along with a B.Ed. (or equivalent) from an NCTE-recognized institution. Relaxed norms (45% + B.Ed., or 55% + integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.) apply as prescribed.   • Upload a recent color photograph (20 KB–200 KB, size 3.5cm × 4.5cm) and scanned signature (10 KB–50 KB)
  • Click “Preview” to verify all entered details before submission; use “Save” to correct any errors
  • Pay the requisite examination fee online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI, using the Payment Gateway
  • Click “Submit” to finalize the application. No changes are permitted after final submission

  • The admit card will be generated strictly based on the details filled in the online application; no correction request will be entertained once the admit card is issued.
  • Candidates must keep their User ID and Password confidential and not share them with anyone, including cyber café operators.
  • If the qualification/subject group mentioned in the application does not match the notified eligibility, the candidature and result may be cancelled at any stage.
  • Candidates applying for the EWS category for STET 2026 must correctly mark “General” as their category in the online application (a common error was noted where EBC candidates mistakenly selected EWS).
  • Result and admit card will be prepared based on the reservation category marked by the candidate in the application; candidates should exercise care while marking the category.
  • Applications with the prescribed fee received after the last date will not be accepted, and such incomplete applications will be rejected.
  • Passing the STET examination does not itself confer any right to appointment.
  • The Samiti reserves the right to modify or cancel the recruitment/examination process at any stage.
