Assistant Education Development Officer competitive examination, advertised vide advertisement number 87/2025 dated 22.08.2025, under the Education Department, will be conducted in three phases.
The said examination is tentatively scheduled to be held in three phases on 14 & 15 April 2026, 17 & 18 April 2026 and 20 & 21 April 2026 at various examination centres of the state.

- Each question carries one mark and there is a provision of 1/3 (one third) negative marking for every wrong answer.
- Only the papers of General Language (General English and General Hindi) will be qualifying, in which it will be mandatory to get minimum 30 percent marks in each paper i.e. other papers will be evaluated only after obtaining minimum marks separately in General English and General Hindi. Candidature will not be considered if minimum marks are not obtained in General English and General Hindi papers.
