Three years Diploma in the relevant trade recognized by the Directorate General Civil Aviation; or
Group “X” Diploma issued by the Indian Air Force.
Preferably two years’ relevant aviation experience after completion of Diploma course.
Assistant Radio Mechanic (Assistant Sub-Inspector):
Three years Diploma recognized by the Directorate General Civil Aviation in Telecommunication or Electronic Engineering; or
Group “X” Radio Diploma issued by the Indian Air Force.
Preferably two years’ experience in maintenance or overhauling of Communication or Navigation equipment fitted in Aircraft or Helicopter held by Border Security Force.
Constable (Storeman):
Matriculation pass with Science; or equivalent from a recognized Board.
Must have two years working experience in store or warehousing of any Government or Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous Organization or any company or private firm or Institution.
Working knowledge in computer or having prior aviation experience is preferable.
Sub-Inspector (Works):
Pass Three Years Diploma in Civil Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central Government or State Government.
Junior Engineer/ Sub-Inspector (Electrical):
Pass Three Years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central Government or State Governments.
HC (Plumber):
Matriculation pass or its equivalent with Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in the trade of Plumber or three years’ experience in the respective trade from reputed firm.
HC (Carpenter):
Matriculation pass or its equivalent with Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in the trade of Carpenter or three years’ experience in the respective trade from reputed firm
Constable (Generator Operator):
Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board with Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the trade (i.e. Electrician or Wireman or Diesel Motor Mechanic) from a recognized institute and three years’ experience in the respective trade from a firm recognized by the Central or State Government.
Constable(Generator Mechanic):
Matriculation or equivalent from recognized Board with Industrial Training Institute Certificate in Diesel/ Motor Mechanic from a recognized institute and three years’ experience in the respective trade from a firm recognized by the Central or State Government.
Constable (Lineman):
Matriculation or equivalent from recognized Board with Industrial Training Institute Certificate from a recognized institute in the trade of Electrical Wireman or Lineman and three years’ experience in the respective trade from a firm recognized by the Central or State Government.

The application for online registration will be hosted on the BSF website from 16 March 2024.
Applications will be received online only.
Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an online Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference.
