DRDO SSPL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Qualification

• ITI Apprentice: ITI First Division in Fitter, Electronics Mechanic, Electrician, Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA), Machinist or Carpenter trade and 10th with First Division.
• Diploma Apprentice: Diploma First Division in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Instrumentation or Computer Science and 10th and Diploma with First Division.
• Graduate Apprentice: Regular Graduation Degree First Division in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Computer Science; OR B.A. / B.Com; OR B.E. / B.Tech First Division in Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Communication Engineering, VLSI or Chemical Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.

Additional Eligibility Criteria

• Diploma and Graduate candidates must register their names on the NATS Portal. Non-registered candidates are likely to be rejected.
• ITI candidates must register their names on the Apprenticeship India NAPS Portal. Non-registered candidates are likely to be rejected.
• Candidates who passed B.Sc., B.E., B.Tech, Diploma, ITI, B.A. or B.Com in the years 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026 are eligible to apply.
• Candidates who passed the qualifying examination before 2022 are not eligible.
• Only candidates who completed the qualifying examination as regular candidates are eligible to apply.

DRDO SSPL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

• Verification of credentials will be conducted for selected candidates before creation of the apprenticeship contract.
• If any information, document or qualification does not conform to the prescribed eligibility conditions, the candidature will be rejected.
• Selected candidates must submit a Police Verification Certificate after joining.
• Written Test, Interview or Merit List details are not mentioned in the official notification.

Apprenticeship Training Terms and Conditions

1. All correspondence, including the offer letter for selected candidates, will be made through email only. Candidates may contact 011-23903540 for queries.
2. The apprenticeship training period will be 12 months from the execution of the Contract of Apprenticeship.
3. Selected candidates must submit a Police Verification Certificate after joining.
4. Credentials of selected candidates will be verified before creation of the apprenticeship contract.
5. Selected candidates must execute an apprenticeship contract for 12 months under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and applicable rules.
6. Before applying, candidates must ensure that they fulfil all eligibility criteria and other conditions mentioned in the advertisement.
7. SSPL is not obligated to provide employment to any apprentice after completion of apprenticeship training.
8. Suppression of facts will lead to disqualification at any stage of the selection process.
9. SSPL reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of apprenticeship seats.
10. Canvassing or personal follow-up intended to influence the selection process will result in cancellation of candidature.
11. SSPL reserves the right to withdraw or cancel the advertisement or selection process without assigning any reason.
12. In case of any dispute, the legal jurisdiction will be the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi.
13. Government quarters, hostel accommodation and transport will not be provided during the training period.

• Graduate and Diploma candidates must register on the NATS Portal.
• ITI candidates must register on the Apprenticeship India NAPS Portal.
• Download the Application Form: Download and print the prescribed application form available with the official notification.
• Fill the Application Form: Enter the post applied for, name in block letters, father or husband’s name, date of birth, present age, correspondence address, permanent address, mobile number, email address, category, NATS or NAPS enrollment number, educational qualification, experience and other required information.
• Affix Photograph: Affix a recent passport-size photograph in the space provided on the application form.
• Attach Required Documents: Attach self-attested photocopies of all relevant educational certificates, marksheets, 10th certificate, ITI, Diploma or Degree certificates as applicable, NATS or NAPS enrollment proof, category certificate if applicable, experience certificate if applicable, address proof and other supporting documents.
• Sign the Application: Sign the declaration and fill in your name, address and date at the prescribed places.
