- Stage 1 – Online Preliminary Examination: 100 MCQ questions covering General Knowledge (20), Mathematics & Logical Reasoning (20), General Hindi (20), English Knowledge (20), Computer Knowledge (20); 120 minutes duration in Hindi & English medium; approximately 1:5 ratio of candidates qualify for next stage per category.
- Stage 2 – Hindi Typing Skill Test: Hindi typing of approximately 350 words on Remington Gail keyboard layout in 10 minutes; 50 marks; Portal charge Rs. 743.40 to be paid by qualified prelim candidates. Minimum qualifying marks: General/OBC (55%), EWS (49.5%), SC (45%), ST/PwD (40%).
