Trade Apprentice

• ITI Pass Certificate in the respective trade (Full-Time/Regular mode only)

 Diploma Apprentice

• Diploma Pass Certificate in Engineering/Technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education / University / recognized Institute in the respective discipline (Full-Time/Regular mode only).
• Diploma must have been passed within 5 years of 30/06/2026.

Graduate Apprentice (Non-Engineering)

• Graduate Degree in non-engineering/general streams (BA, B.Sc., B.Com., etc.) including sandwich courses granted by a College/University recognized by AICTE/UGC/State Government/Central Government (Full-Time/Regular mode only).

NPCIL MAPS Apprentices Salary/Stipend 2026

Trade Apprentice

• Rs. 9,600/- per month (for those engaged after 1-year ITI course) | Rs. 10,560/- per month (for those engaged after 2-year ITI course)

Diploma Apprentice

•  Rs. 10,900/- per month

NPCIL MAPS Apprentices Selection Process 2026

इस apprenticeship में कोई written exam नहीं होगा। Selection केवल merit (ITI/Diploma/Graduation में प्राप्त अंकों) के आधार पर होगा। Final selection document verification, medical fitness और police verification पर निर्भर करेगा। NPCIL किसी भी trade/discipline की seats बदलने या पूरी recruitment process cancel करने का अधिकार रखता है।

Stage 1 – Merit Based Shortlisting

Local Preference	MAPS plant site के 16 km radius वाले neighbouring villages के candidates को preference मिलेगी
Merit Extension	यदि local candidates से seats fill नहीं होतीं, तो अन्य applicants की merit list बनेगी
Tie-Breaking Rule 1	Marks बराबर होने पर अधिक उम्र (earlier DOB) वाले candidate को preference
Tie-Breaking Rule 2	DOB भी same होने पर 10th (Matriculation) में अधिक marks वाले candidate को preference

Stage 2 – Document Verification

Shortlisted candidates को document verification के लिए बुलाया जाएगा। Original documents और self-attested copies दिखानी होंगी। गलत information या fake documents मिलने पर candidature cancel हो सकती है।

Stage 3 – Medical Examination

Candidate medically fit होना चाहिए। Minimum physical standards:

• Height: 137 cm
• Weight: 25.4 kg
• Chest Expansion: 3.8 cm

Candidate को TB, infectious disease या ऐसी medical condition नहीं होनी चाहिए जो apprenticeship में बाधा बने।

Stage 4 – Police Verification

क्योंकि MAPS Kalpakkam एक highly prohibited area है, इसलिए selected candidates को Police Verification Certificate जमा करना होगा। साथ में institution का Character/Conduct Certificate भी mandatory है।
