Scientific Assistant/B (Civil)

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks from MHRD, Govt. of India recognized institution
  • Diploma should be of 3 years duration after SSC / HSC OR 2 years through lateral entry after HSC approved by AICTE
  • English as one of the subjects either at SSC or HSC level examination
  • Candidates with Diploma through lateral entry after 10th (SSC) + ITI are not eligible

Category-I Stipendiary Trainee / Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) – Engineering Diploma Holders

  • Mechanical: Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engineering with minimum 60% marks
  • Instrumentation: Diploma in Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Control with minimum 60% marks
  • Electrical: Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% marks
  • Electronics: Diploma in Electronics / Digital Electronics / Electronics & Tele-communication / Electronics & Computer/Industrial Electronics / Electronics & Communication Engineering with minimum 60% marks
  • Diploma should be of 3 years duration after SSC / HSC OR 2 years through lateral entry after HSC approved by AICTE
  • English as one of the subjects either at SSC or HSC level

Category-I Stipendiary Trainee / Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) – Health Physics (Science Graduates)

  • B.Sc. with minimum 60% marks with Physics as principal and Chemistry / Mathematics / Statistics / Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary
  • OR B.Sc. with Chemistry as principal and Physics / Mathematics / Statistics / Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary
  • OR B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects with equal weightage
  • Mathematics at HSC (10+2) level is essential
  • English as one of the subjects either at SSC or HSC level
  • Candidates with Mathematics as principal subject at B.Sc. are not eligible

Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (ST/TN) – Maintainer (Fitter, Turner, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist, Electronic Mechanic, Mason)

  • SSC (10th) with minimum 50% marks in science subject(s) and Mathematics individually
  • 2 years ITI certificate in relevant trade (Electronic Mechanic / Machinist / Fitter / Turner / Instrument Mechanic / Mason)
  • For trades where ITI course duration is less than 2 years, minimum 1-year relevant working experience required after course completion
  • English as one of the subjects at SSC level
  • One year apprenticeship training after 1 year ITI course shall be considered as one year experience
  • Period of internship will not be counted as experience

Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (ST/TN) – Plant Operator

  • HSC (10+2) or ISC in Science stream (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate
  • English as one of the subjects at SSC level
  • Relaxation for Project Affected Persons (PAPs): HSC with minimum 40% marks in science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English

X-Ray Technician (Technician-C)

  • HSC (10+2) with minimum 60% marks in science
  • 1-year Medical Radiography / X-Ray Technique Trade Certificate
  • Minimum 2 years relevant post-qualification full-time work experience

Assistant Grade-1 (HR / F&A / C&MM)

  • Any Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from recognized University / Institution
  • Relaxation for PAPs: Pass in Graduation

  • Pay Level: Level 6 in Pay Matrix

  • Training Duration: 24 months (2 years)
  • Stipend: Rs.20,000/- per month for 1st year; Rs. 22,000/- per month for 2nd year + Rs. 3,000/- book allowance

  • Stage-1:Online Test (Computer Based Test – CBT)
    • Duration: 1.5 hours (90 minutes)
    • Total Questions: 50 Multiple Choice Questions
    • Maximum Marks: 100 (2 marks for each correct answer, 0.5 negative marking)
    • Syllabus: Questions pertaining to respective discipline (subject knowledge)
    • Qualifying Marks: 40% (UR), 30% (SC /ST/ OBC-NCL / EWS / PwBD)
  • Stage-2: Personal Interview
    • Total Marks: 100
    • Qualifying Marks: 40% (UR), 30% (SC /ST/ OBC-NCL / EWS / PwBD)
    • Shortlisting: 5 times the number of vacancies
  • Final Selection: Based on overall performance in Online Test and Personal Interview (Weightage 50:50)

For Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (ST/TN) – Operator & Maintainer

  • Stage-1: Preliminary Test (Online – CBT)
    • Duration: 1 hour
    • Total Questions: 50 MCQs (Mathematics: 20, Science: 20, General Awareness: 10)
    • Maximum Marks: 150 (3 marks for correct, 1 negative marking)
    • Qualifying Marks: 40% (UR), 30% (Reserved categories)
  • Stage-2: Advanced Test (Online – CBT)
    • Duration: 2 hours
    • Total Questions: 50 MCQs related to academic / professional / technical qualification
    • Maximum Marks: 150 (3 marks for correct, 1 negative marking)
    • Qualifying Marks: 30% (UR), 20% (Reserved categories)
  • Stage-3: Document Verification/Physical Standard Examination
    • Shortlisting: 3 times the number of vacancies based on Stage-2 marks
  • Both Stage-1 and Stage-2 will be conducted on the same day without any break
  • Stage-2 will be evaluated only if candidate qualifies Stage-1

For X-Ray Technician (Technician-C)

  • Stage-1: Preliminary Test (Same as Category-II ST/TN)

  • Stage-3: Document Verification and Skill Test
    • Shortlisting: 5 times the number of vacancies
    • Skill Test: Qualifying nature only (Go/No Go basis)
    • Qualifying Marks for Skill Test: 50% (UR), 40% (Reserved categories)

For Assistant Grade-1 (HR/F&A/C&MM)

  • Stage-1: Preliminary Test (Online – CBT)
    • Duration: 1 hour
    • Total Questions: 50 MCQs (General Knowledge: 25, Computer Knowledge: 15, English: 10)
    • Maximum Marks: 150 (3 marks for correct, 1 negative marking)
    • Qualifying Marks: 40% (UR), 30% (Reserved categories)
  • Stage-2: Advanced Test (Online – CBT)
    • Duration: 2 hours
    • Total Questions: 50 MCQs (Quantitative Aptitude: 25, Critical Reasoning: 25)
    • Maximum Marks: 150 (3 marks for correct, 1 negative marking)
    • Qualifying Marks: 30% (UR), 20% (Reserved categories)
  • Stage-3: Document Verification
    • Shortlisting: 3 times the number of vacancies based on Stage-2 marks
  • On selection, candidates will be placed on probation for 1 year
  • Typing Test @ 30 words per minute required after first 6 months
  • 15 days Computer Proficiency Training during probation
