PTET 2023 Eligibility

B.Ed. Course (Two Year Course):

• Candidates securing at least 50% marks in aggregate in the Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree examination of any State University or any other University recognized as equivalent to and fulfilling the other requirements for admission to B.Ed.
• However, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, MBC as well as physically challenged and Widow or Divorced women candidates of Rajasthan having at least 45% marks in aggregate in the Bachelor’s or Master’s degree level examination will be eligible to apply for admission.

B.A. B.Ed./ B.Sc. B.Ed. (4 Year Course):

• Candidate securing at least 50% marks in aggregate in the Senior secondary examination of the Sec. Board of education, Rajasthan Ajmer, or any other recognized Board as equivalent (Equivalence certificate should be provided by the candidate)
• However, scheduled caste, scheduled tribes, other backward classes, most backward classes as well as physically challenged and widow or divorced women candidates of Rajasthan having at least 45% marks in aggregate in the Senior Secondary examination will be eligible to apply for admission.

PTET 2023 Online Form Exam Pattern

• All questions in Question-Paper shall be objective-type multiple-choice questions with at least four alternative answers. (See sample question under heading ‘Model Question Paper’).
• The Paper will be set both in English and Hindi except in the Language Proficiency Section.
• In case of discrepancy in options of answers or in the question paper, the English version shall be treated as final.
• The duration of the paper shall be 3 hours.
• Each question will carry 3 marks and the maximum marks in the paper shall be 600.
• Full 3 marks will be awarded for each correct answer. In Attitude & Aptitude Section, however, the answers will be scaled on a scale of 3 to 0 marks. This means that answer to each question will carry a weightage of 3,2,1 and 0.
• The PTET Examination will consist of one question paper containing the following four Sections:

1. Mental Ability
2. Teaching attitude & Aptitude Test
3. General Awareness and
4. Language Proficiency (Hindi or English)

PTET 2023 Syllabus

Section A: Mental ability:

• Mental ability Section shall consist of 50 objective type multiple choice questions to test the following abilities:
• Reasoning (ii) Imagination (iii) Judgement & Decision Making (iv) Creative Thinking (v) Generalization (vi) Drawing inferences etc.

Section B: Teaching Attitude and Aptitude Test:

• Teaching Attitude and Aptitude Test Section shall consist of 50 questions mainly in the following areas:
• Social Maturity, (ii) Leadership, (iii) Professional Commitment, (iv) interpersonal Relations. (v) Communication, (vi) Awareness etc. This will be the test of attitudes and awareness in which answers to the questions will be scored on a scale of 3, 2, 1, and 0.

Section C: General awareness:

• General awareness Section shall consist of 50 objective type multiple choice questions mainly in the following areas:
• Current Affairs (National & International), (ii) (Indian History & Culture, (iii) India and its Natural Resources. (iv) Great Indian Personalities (Past and Present), (v) Environmental Awareness, (vi) Knowledge about Rajasthan, etc.

Section D: Language Proficiency (English or Hindi):

• Language Proficiency (English or Hindi) Section shall consist of 50 Objective type multiple choice questions regarding proficiency in Hindi or English Language mainly related to the following aspects:-
• Vocabulary, (ii) Functional Grammar, (iii) Sentence Structures, (iv) Comprehension, etc.

Rajasthan PTET 2023 Admit Card Download

• Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET) 2023 admit card will be uploaded on www.ptetggtu.com website you can download your admit card by using your form number or challan number.
• At first open PTET GGTU official website ptetggtu.com on your computer or phone browser.
• Navigate to the middle of the web page, under the 2 Year Course [B.Ed.] section click on the given link as “PTET-2023 Admit Card”.
• You will be redirected to the download page of admit card for the Pre-Teacher Education Test 2023.
• In the admit card page enter your Form No/ Challan No. and Date of Birth correctly in the specified field.
• Finally, click on Proceed button to download your admit card. You can take a printout of it or a download copy for future reference.

PTET Result 2023

• The result of all the candidates will be made available on the Website of PTET www.ptetggtu.com on the site as informed through Newspapers, the information about their selection status for admission in B.Ed. The course will also be made available with their result on the Website.
• Mark sheets can be downloaded from the Website of PTET.
• No information about the result/selection for admission in B.Ed. Course will be sent by posts.
• However, as far as possible, information will be given through S.M.S. on the mobile number given by the candidate in their online admission form.
• Notification regarding declaration of result on Website will be published in newspapers for information of candidates.
• The material related to the examination will be kept preserved for six months after the examination. Thereafter, the material will be disposed of.
