BSF TradesmanResult 2023: BSF has conducted the written exam for the 2158 Tradesman Posts including 2041 vacancies for Male candidates and 117 vacancies for female candidates Constable (Tradesman) in the Border Security Force. The candidates who appeared for the BSF Tradesman written exam on 28 August 2023 can check their Result from the Border Security Force official website bsf.gov.in. The BSF Tradesman Result 2023 has been declared on 6 November 2023 by the BSF @rectt.bsf.gov.in
For Trade of Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Sweeper:
Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board.
Must be proficient in respective trade.
Must qualify Trade test in the respective trade conducted by recruitment board.
For Trades of Cook, Water Carrier, Waiter:
Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board.
National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) Level–1 Course in Food Production or Kitchen from National Skill Development Corporation or from the Institute recognized by National Skill Development Corporation.

Written Exam
Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
History, Geography, and Socio-Economic development, Knowledge of current events of National and International importance, and such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person who has not madea special study of any scientific subject. The paper will also include questions on the Modern History (From 1857 onwards) of India, Indian culture, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, and Geography of India.
Knowledge of elementary Mathematics:
The test of Arithmetical and Numerical abilities will cover Number Systems including questions on Simplification, Decimals, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs, etc.
Analytical Aptitude and ability to Observe Distinguish Pattern:
It will include the question of both verbal and non-verbal types. Questions will be asked about analogies, similarities and differences, problem-solving, relationships, arithmetical computation and other analytical functions, Venn diagrams, relationship concepts, and the ability to observe and distinguish patterns, etc.
General Hindi / English:
The candidate’s ability to understand correct English, basic comprehension and writing ability, etc. would be tested. Questions will be asked from error recognition, fill in the blanks (using verbs, prepositions, articles, etc), Vocabulary, Spellings, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Completion, Phrases and Idiomatic use of Words, etc.
