Candidates must fulfil the following eligibility conditions, assessed as on the cut-off date of 01.08.2026, to apply for Bank of Baroda Local Bank Officer Recruitment 2026.

• Nationality: Citizen of India, or subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 with intent to permanently settle, or a person of Indian origin who migrated from specified countries (Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Vietnam) with intent to permanently settle in India.
• Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution (mandatory).
• Preferred Certifications: IC 38 (Insurance Institute of India), NISM Series V-A (Mutual Fund Distributors), NISM Series XXI-A (PMS Distributors), NISM Series XIII (Common Derivatives).
• Post-Qualification Experience: Minimum 1 year as an Officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank listed in the Second Schedule of the Reserve Bank of India.
• Language Proficiency: Must be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, understanding) in the local language of the state applied for.
• Additional Condition: Candidates who have resigned from an officer-grade position in Bank of Baroda, or exited the Bank while on contract within the last three years as on the cut-off date, are not eligible to apply. Employees currently working in Bank of Baroda in the officer cadre or on contract basis are also not eligible.

• For Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland, English is accepted as the local language only for candidates who have studied and passed English as a subject from a school located in the respective state. BOB Local Bank Officer Recruitment 2026 Salary

Selected candidates for the JMG/S-I grade will draw pay as per the following scale, along with allowances and benefits as per the Bank’s policies.

• Local Bank Officer (JMG/S-I): Pay Scale 48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2-67160-2680/7-85920.
• One advance increment will be granted to selected candidates who have one year or more of work experience as an Officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank.
• Salary and other emoluments will be governed by the industry-level bipartite settlement and Joint Note applicable to bank officers, along with bank-specific allowances and perquisites as revised from time to time.

• Candidates can apply for only one state; multiple applications will result in forfeiture of fees for extra registrations.
• No change of category is permitted at any stage after registration of the online application.
• Candidates must possess a valid personal email ID and mobile number, kept active till completion of the recruitment process.
• Candidates are advised to possess or acquire a valid Aadhaar card, as Online Aadhaar verification will be conducted at various stages.
• Biometric data/IRIS scan and photograph will be captured and verified before the online examination, at GD/interview, and at the time of joining.
• Mobile phones, pagers, calculators, or similar devices are not allowed inside the examination premises.
• Selected candidates will be posted within the state applied for the first 12 years of service or until promotion to SMGS-IV grade, whichever is earlier.
• Selected candidates will be on probation for 12 months from the date of joining.
• Selected candidates must execute a Service Bond to serve a minimum of 3 years, or pay an amount equivalent to three months’ gross salary (not exceeding Rs. 2 Lakhs) if they leave before completing three years of service.
• Any legal disputes arising from this recruitment fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of courts/tribunals in Mumbai.
