Telecom Stream
- Telecom Stream (JTO-T-DR): Bachelor of Engineering Degree or equivalent from a Central Govt./State Govt. recognized Institution/University in any of the following disciplines: Telecommunications, Electronics, Radio, Computer, Electrical, Information Technology (IT), or Instrumentation.
- Alternative Qualification: M.Sc. (Electronics) / M.Sc. (Computer Science).
- Note: Candidates possessing M.Tech in the prescribed disciplines are also eligible. The candidate should be an Indian National and should have completed the course as on the closing date of receipt of application.

- Stage 1: Computer Based Multiple Choice-Objective Type Test (CBT) – 3 hours duration covering Engineering Stream Section – I, Engineering Stream Section – II, and General Ability Test Section – III.
