JTET 2026 Eligibility

Primary School (Class 1 to 5):

• न्यूनतम 50 प्रतिशत अंकों के साथ +2 उत्तीर्ण या उच्चतर माध्यमिक (अथवा इसके समकक्ष) तथा प्रारंभिक शिक्षा शास्त्र में द्विवर्षीय डिप्लोमा अथवा
• न्यूनतम 45 प्रतिशत अंकों के साथ +2 उत्तीर्ण या उच्चतर माध्यमिक (अथवा इसके समकक्ष) एवं प्रारंभिक शिक्षा शास्त्र में द्विवर्षीय डिप्लोमा, जो राष्ट्रीय अध्यापक शिक्षा परिषद् (मान्यता, मानदण्ड और क्रियाविधि) विनियम-2002 के अनुसार प्राप्त किया गया हो। अथवा
• न्यूनतम 50 प्रतिशत अंकों के साथ +2 उत्तीर्ण या उच्चतर माध्यमिक (अथवा इसके समकक्ष) तथा 4 वर्षीय प्रारंभिक शिक्षा शास्त्र में स्नातक (बी.एल.एड.) अथवा
• न्यूनतम 50 प्रतिशत अंकों के साथ +2 उत्तीर्ण या उच्चतर माध्यमिक (अथवा इसके समकक्ष) तथा शिक्षा शास्त्र (विशेष शिक्षा) में द्विवर्षीय डिप्लोमा अथवा
• स्नातक तथा प्रारंभिक शिक्षा में द्विवर्षीय डिप्लोमा

Upper Primary School (Class 6 to 8):

• स्नातक (अथवा इसके समकक्ष) और प्रारंभिक शिक्षा शास्त्र में द्विवर्षीय डिप्लोमा अथवा
• न्यूनतम 50 प्रतिशत अंकों के साथ स्नातक (या इसके समकक्ष) या स्नातकोत्तर एवं शिक्षा शास्त्र में स्नातक (बी.एड.) [जो दिनांक 29.07.2011 के बाद स्नातक अथवा समतुल्य प्रशिक्षण पाठ्यक्रम में नामांकित हुए हों] अथवा
• न्यूनतम 45 प्रतिशत अंकों के साथ स्नातक (या इसके समकक्ष) एवं बी.एड. अथवा समतुल्य प्रशिक्षण पाठ्यक्रम, जो इस संबंध में समय-समय पर जारी किये गये राष्ट्रीय अध्यापक शिक्षा परिषद् (मान्यता, मानदण्ड तथा क्रियाविधि) विनियमों के अनुसार प्राप्त किया गया हो। [जो दिनांक 29.07.2011 से पूर्व स्नातक अथवा समतुल्य प्रशिक्षण पाठ्यक्रम में नामांकित हुए हो] अथवा
• यूनतम 50 प्रतिशत अंकों के साथ उच्चतर माध्यमिक (या इसके समकक्ष) एवं 4 वर्षीय प्रारंभिक शिक्षा शास्त्र में स्नातक (बी.एल.एड.) अथवा
• न्यूनतम 50 प्रतिशत अंकों के साथ उच्चतर माध्यमिक (या इसके समकक्ष) एवं 4 वर्षीय बी.ए/बी.एस सी.एड. (BA, B.Sc, B.Ed.) या बी.ए.एड. (BA.Ed.)/बी.एस सी.एड. (BSc,Ed.) अथवा
• न्यूनतम 50 प्रतिशत अंकों के साथ स्नातक (अथवा इसके समकक्ष) तथा बी.एड. (विशेष शिक्षा) अथवा
• न्यूनतम 55 प्रतिशत अंकों अथवा उसके समकक्ष ग्रेड के साथ स्नातकोत्तर और 03 वर्षीय एकीकृत बी.एड. एम.एड.
• परन्तु, राज्य के उच्च प्राथमिक (कक्षा 6-8 के लिए) विद्यालयों में गणित एवं विज्ञान, सामाजिक विज्ञान एवं भाषा के लिए निम्न विषयों में न्यूनतम स्नातक उत्तीर्ण होना आवश्यक होगा-

Jharkhand TET 2026 Test Structure

1. There will be two levels of eligibility test exam i.e. primary school level and upper primary school level. Candidates can also appear in both the levels of examination.

1. Primary school level for class 1 to 5: Level-1
2. Upper Primary School level for class 6 to 8: Level-2

2. There will be a consolidated question paper in each level of examination, the duration of which will be as follows:

1. Primary class (1 to 5) – 02 Hour 30 Minutes
2. Upper Primary Class (6 to 8) – 02 Hour 30 Minutes
3. For visually impaired – 30 minutes extra time.

3. The questions of the Eligibility Test exam for Primary School level will be based on the syllabus of class 11 and 12 under the syllabus approved by NCERT/ CBSE and State Government. Their maximum level of difficulty will be 10+2/ Higher Secondary or equivalent.

4. The questions of the eligibility test for upper primary school level will be as per the graduation syllabus of ‘State University’ recognized by the University Grants Commission and the level of difficulty of the questions will be graduation or equivalent.

How to Fill JTET 2026 Online Form?

1. The application for online registration will be hosted on the JTET website from 21/04/2026.
2. Applications will be received online only.
3. Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an online Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference.
4. E-mail ID of the applicant is to be given in the application compulsorily.
5. The last date for submitting online application is 21/05/2026.
