HPSC PGT Recruitment 2024 Eligibility

(a) Essential Qualification common to all advertisement of posts

1. Matric with Hindi/ Sanskrit or 10+2/ B.A./ M.A. with Hindi as one of thc subject.
2. Certificate of having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET)/ School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET).
3. Consistent good academic record.

(b) Essential Qualification for various posts (Subject-wise)

PGT Biology: M.Sc Zoology/ Botany/ Bio-Sciences/ Bio-Chemistry/ Genetics/ Micro Biology/ Plant Physiology/ Bio-Technology/ Life Sciences/ Molecular Bio. with at least 50% marks provided that the applicant had studied Botany & Zoology at Graduation level and B.Ed. from recognized university;

PGT Chemistry: M.Sc. Chemistry or Bio-Chemistry with at least 50% marks and B.Ed.

PGT Commerce: M.Com. with accounting/ Cost accounting/ Financial accounting as a major subject of study with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. Holders of degree of M.Com. in Applied/ Business Economics shall not be eligible.

PGT Economics: M.A. Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics with at least 50% marks and B.Ed.

PGT English: M.A. English with at least 50% marks and B.Ed.

PGT Fine Arts: M.A. Fine Arts with at least 50% marks and B.Ed.

PGT Geography: M.A. Geography with at least 50% marks and B.Ed.

PGT Hindi: M.A. Hindi with at least 50oZ marks and B.Ed.

PGT History: M.A. History with at least 50% marks and B.Ed.

PGT Home Science: M.Sc. Home Science with at least 50o% marks and B.Ed.

PGT Mathematics: M.A./ M.Sc. Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics with Mathematics as one of the subject at Graduation level with at least 5% marks and B.Ed.

PGT Music: M.A. Music with at least 50% marks and B.Ed.

PGT Physical Education: M.A. Physical Education or M.P.Ed. with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or Diploma in Physical Education (D.P.Ed.) or its equivalent.

PGT Physics: M.Sc. Physics/ Applied Physics/ Nuclear Physics/ Electronics Science/ Electronics with at least 50% marks and B.Ed.

PGT Political Science: M.A. Political Science or Public Administration with at least 50% marks and B.Ed.

PGT Psychology: M.A. Psychology with at least 50% marks and B.Ed.

How to Apply HPSC PGT Online Form 2024?

1. The application for online registration will be hosted on the HPSC website from 25 July 2024.
2. Applications will be received online only.
3. Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an online Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference.
4. E-mail ID of the applicant is to be given in the application compulsorily.
5. The last date for submitting online application is 14 Aug 2024.
