Minimum three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised Institute or University or Board with minimum 65% of marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) or Degree in CivilEngineering from a recognised University with 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
Junior Engineer (Electrical):
Minimum three years Diploma in Electrical or Electrical and Electronic Engineering from a recognized Instituteor University or Board with minimum 65% of marks (55% for SC/ST/ PwBD) or Degree in Electrical or Electrical and Electronic Engineering from a recognized University with 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/ PwBD).
Required Experience for RBI JE
Junior Engineer (Civil):
At least 2 years’ experience for Diploma holders or at least 1-year experience for Degree holders in execution and supervision of civil construction work and/ or civilmaintenance of office buildings/ commercial buildings/ residential complexes with basic knowledge of RCC design and other civil works, working knowledge of computers, experience in preparation of tenders for civil works, etc or a 1-year graduate apprenticeship training in a PSU.
Junior Engineer (Electrical):
At least 2 years’ experience for Diploma holders or at least 1-year experience for Degree holders in execution and supervision of electrical installations in large buildings/ commercial buildingshaving HT/ LT substations, centralAC plants, lifts, UPS, DG sets, CCTV, Fire alarm system, etc or a 1-year graduate apprenticeship training in a PSU.

Pay Scale for RBI JE
Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of ₹33,900/- per month (i.e. ₹20,700/- plus nine advance increments admissibleto Junior Engineers) in the scale of Rs. 20700 – 1200 (3) – 24300 – 1440 (4) –30060 – 1920 (6) – 41580 – 2080 (2) – 45740 – 2370 (3) – 52850 – 2850 – 55700 andother allowances, as admissible from time to time.
At present, initial monthly Grossemoluments for Junior Engineer (Civil/ Electrical) is approximately Rs. 71,032/.
House Rent Allowance of 15% of Pay will be paid to them, additionally, if they are not staying in Bank’s accommodation.
RBI JE Recruitment 2023 Selection Process
Selection will be through Online Examination and Language Proficiency Test (LPT).
The Online Examination will be for 300 marks and is scheduled to be held on July 15, 2023.
The online test/s except the Test of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e., in English and Hindi.
There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
