Coast Guard Recruitment 2024 Eligibility

MTS (Peon):

• Matriculation or equivalent

MTS (Chowkidar):

• Matriculation or equivalent

Sarang Lascar:

• Matriculation or equivalent
• Certificate for Competency as Sarang from a Government recognized Institute or equivalent

Lascar:

• Matriculation or equivalent
• Certificate for Competency as Sarang from a Government recognized Institute or equivalent

Draughtsman:

• Diploma in Civil or Electrical or Mechanical or Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture and ship construction from a recognized university or institution or certificate in Draughtsmanship in any of the above said disciplines from an industrial training institute

MTD (OG):

• 10th standard pass
• Must possess valid driving license for both heavy and light motor vehicles
• Should have at least two years’ experience in driving motor vehicles.
• Knowledge of Motor Mechanism (should be able to remove minor defects in vehicles)

MT Fitter:

• Matriculation or equivalent
• Two years’ experience in automobile workshop

Rigger:

• Matriculation or equivalent
• Should qualify a trade entrance examination
• Should have successfully completed apprenticeship from a recognized /reputed workshop in the relevant trade under Apprenticeship Act 1961 or under any other recognized Apprenticeship scheme. OR
• Should have completed training course in the relevant trade from an ITI recognized for this purpose and have 01-year trade experience. OR
• 04-year experience in the trade for which no training is available in the industrial Training Institute or other recognized institutions.

North-West (Gandhinagar):

• The details of above mentioned posts can be seen on the web portal of Indian Coast Guard i.e. www.indiancoastguard.gov.in. Applications of the eligible candidates, complete in all respect, should reach Headquarters, Coast Guard Region (North-West), Gandhinagar within 45 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in Employment News. Age calculation as on last date of receipt of application. Number of vacancies may vary at any stage of recruitment.

West (Mumbai):

• The detailed information about recruitment of civilian posts are available on Indian Coast Guard website www.indiancoastguard.gov.in. Duly filled applications to be submitted with self-attested copy of certificates by Ordinary post only to “The Commander, Coast Guard Region(West), Worli Sea Face P.O. Worli Colony, Mumbai-400030”.
