Introduction
NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses as per Section 61(2) of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019 read with Chapter IV of Post Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023.
No other entrance examination, either at the state or the Institution level, shall be valid for entry to MD / MS / PG Diploma courses. Qualifying NEET-PG is mandatory for entry to MD /MS /PG Diploma courses under various Universities / Institutions in the country. NEET-PG is mandatory even for foreign nationals seeking admission in medical courses in India.

NEET PG 2026 Eligibility
Candidates who have completed their MBBS from India must:
- Possess MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate recognized as per the provisions of the NMC Act, 2019 and the Post Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023, and
- Possess Permanent or Provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the NMC / the erstwhile Medical Council of India or State Medical Council, and
- have Completed one year of internship or are likely to complete the internship on or before 30/09/2026,
How to Fill NEET PG Online Form 2026?
- The application for online registration will be hosted on the NBEMS website from 01/07/2026.
- Applications will be received online only.
- Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an online Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference.
- E-mail ID of the applicant is to be given in the application compulsorily.
- The last date for submitting online application is 21/07/2026.

- Scan Photo : Passport Size Photograph with White Background
- Real Time Photograph : For real time photo, candidate must have webcam / in-built camera in Laptop / Desktop, one thing to keep in mind is background should be white.
