  • Candidates must have passed the Senior Secondary Examination in Arts, Science or Commerce from the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, or an equivalent examination recognized by the Government, or any higher examination.

  • Candidates must be mentally and physically fit and must submit a medical fitness certificate from a Government-notified medical authority when required.
  • A candidate must be a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal or a subject of Bhutan. Candidates belonging to Nepal or Bhutan must possess the required eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India.

  • During Probation: Selected candidates will receive fixed consolidated remuneration of ₹23,700 per month for two years as Probationer Trainees.
  • After Successful Completion of Probation: Candidates will be placed in Pay Matrix Level L-10 with a pay scale of ₹33,800 to ₹1,06,700 per month.
  • Probation Period: Two Years.
  • Stage 1 – Shorthand Test: Candidates must appear for the Hindi or English Shorthand Test according to the post for which they have applied.
  • English Shorthand Test: Dictation of a passage for 6 minutes at 80 words per minute, followed by transcription and typing on a computer within 50 minutes.
  • Hindi Shorthand Test: Dictation of a passage for 6 minutes at 70 words per minute, followed by transcription and typing on a computer within 50 minutes.
  • Stage 2 – Computer Test: A compulsory Speed Test and Efficiency Test will be conducted for all candidates. Each test will carry 50 marks and have a duration of 10 minutes.
  • Minimum Computer Speed: Candidates must achieve at least 8,000 key depressions per hour.
  • Computer Test Font: Kruti Dev 010 for Hindi and Calibri for English.
  • Stage 3 – Interview: Successful candidates will be called for a qualifying interview. The interview will carry no marks and will be conducted to ensure that the candidate has no speech impediment that prevents them from reading their own writing.
  • Final Merit List: The merit list will be prepared based on aggregate marks obtained in the Shorthand Test and Computer Test.
  • Tie-Breaking Rule: In case of equal aggregate marks, the candidate securing higher marks in the Shorthand Test will receive a higher rank. If the tie continues, the older candidate will be placed higher in merit.
