- PET-2025 Requirement: Only candidates who appeared in UPSSSC PET-2025 and were issued a valid PET-2025 Score Card by the Commission can apply. Candidates with zero marks, negative marks or absent status in PET-2025 will not be shortlisted.
- Assistant Accountant – Directorate of Internal Audit & Accounts, UP: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from a University established by law in India, or Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy from a Government-recognized University or Institution, along with an ‘O’ Level Diploma in Computer Operation from a Government-recognized institution.
- Assistant Accountant – Municipal Council Directorate, UP: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy, along with a mandatory ‘O’ Level Computer Certificate from a recognized institution.
- Assistant Accountant – UP Housing & Development Board: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy, along with an ‘O’ Level Diploma in Computer Operation.
- Auditor – Directorate, Local Fund, Accounts Examination: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy, along with an ‘O’ Level Computer Diploma.

UPSSSC Auditor & Assistant Accountant Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
- Stage 1 – PET-2025 Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted category-wise on the basis of their normalized PET-2025 score in the ratio of 1:15 against the notified vacancies.
- Stage 2 – Written / OMR Based Main Examination: The Main Examination will contain 100 objective-type questions for 100 marks and will have a duration of 120 minutes.
- Negative Marking: One-fourth of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Stage 3 – Document Verification: Candidates shortlisted on the basis of Main Examination merit will be called for verification of original documents.
