GATE 2024 Qualification
- Candidates who are currently studying in the 3rd or higher years of any undergraduate degree program or who have completed any government approved degree program in Engineering/ Technology/ Science/ Architecture/ Humanities are eligible to appear for GATE 2024.
- Candidates pursuing any higher degree or in possession of a degree higher than that mentioned in the table below, will be allowed to appear for GATE 2024.

What is the Exam Fee for GATE 2024?
Rs. 900/- for SC / ST / Female and Rs. 1800/- for Other Category.
For how many GATE papers can I apply?
A candidate can apply for ONE or TWO papers (from the given set of combinations as per Two Paper Combinations) of the 30 papers listed in the GATE INFORMATION BROCHURE or GATE website. The choice of the appropriate paper is the responsibility of the candidate.
When will I receive my GATE Admit Card?
Admit Card can ONLY be downloaded from GATE 2024 website in the first week of January 2024. Admit Cards will NOT be sent by post or as an e-mail attachment.
